Shake the Stacks - Part I
On
October 19th the 'Shake the Stacks' Organization brought some of Hip-Hop's
finest to the Rainer Beach Library in Seattle. Yes I did say library - and
every thing was not hush-hush. Coordinator Lynn Lorenz and Jonathan Moore aka "Wordsayer"
put their creative thoughts together and put a tight ass show together for the
youth.
The goal of this organization is to bring the youth back to the library and let
the youth know learning is what you need to succeed in this dog-eat-dog world.
Seaspot's crew was excited to be a part of the positivity that was flowing in
the air that night. Our future B-Boys and Girls need this knowledge to carry on
the torch of Hip Hop.
Byrdie and Syko of Street Level Records brought the house down with their smooth
playalistic, yet energetic style. Byrdie's new album Poetic Epidemic and
Syko's album Sykotherapy are both in stores now.
The Spinnovators' DV-One and E-Rok were putting it down on the one's and two's.
The future B-Boys and Girls were mesmerized by their turntable skills.
Last but not least Central Intelligence featuring members Low Key, Dialect,
Citizen Cain, Sea Jay, and Diopolis brought mad flavor to the show. The youth
were really feeling this group.
The overall show was a success. Seaspot's crew was blessed to be in such a
positive outing for Hip Hop. Mad props to the Shake the Stack organization -
keep up the good work!
