Hip Hop News From Around The Way...

Compiled by Seaspot Staff

G-Unit is cooking beef like Emeril on speed, and this time it isn't even theirs. Young Buck's debut, Straight Outta Cashville looks like it includes "Stomp," which features T.I. dissing Ludacris and Luda responding, one after the other. When Luda heard "Real n****s know the difference between you and this/Me getting stomped out, that's ludicrous," he asked to get on the track and fired back: "Pimpin' be easy, quick to catch feelings/'Cause you worth a couple hundred grand and I'm worth millions/Nobody's thinking 'bout you and your beef ain't legit/So please get off the T.I.P. of my d**k." This is the second high profile beef for T.I.; looks like he's trying the 50 Cent formula and dissing his way to multi-plat.

Roc-A-Fella is out there in the trenches making up for the "retirement" of the Jiggaman. After scooping up a fresh-from-lockdown ODB/Big Baby Jesus/Dirt McGirt, and opening their doors to street legends M.O.P., Dame Dash and crew have scooped up longtime mixtape favorite Graph, as well as the the grimey one himself N.O.R.E. If the Roc can actually manage to release all of these cats, we're in for some heat.

Biggie may finally get some justice from the system. Two years ago Voletta Wallace and Faith Evans, along with others, filed a wrongful death suit against Los Angeles and various police officials regarding their roles in Big's death. Despite some legal wrangling by the defendants in the case, it is now set to go forward.

More beef from the G-Unit butcher shop. Check the mixtapes for 50 vs. Shyne. We're not saying it's fishy, but why do cats seem to go after 50 when they have an album about to drop? Shyne's latest effort is out August 10.

Mack 10 has released a statement denying charges by soon to be ex-wife T-Boz that he beat her and threatened to kill her.

Kanye West has gone on a signing spree, picking up Common among others. The Kan man is looking to build an empire of his own it seems.

Too much beef in the industry kids. Just too much. Jim Jones and Cam'ron got at the newly-returned Mase recently. "I will do it to you duke," Jones said. "I don't like you. You shouldn't have came out your mouth. I'll put some dentures in your mouth. Go back down south with your congregation. Tell the truth. For you to sit there and lie...you are a reverend." All this in response to Mase's allegation he was stiffed on some appearance fees by Cam.
