KUBE 93.3 Birthday Party 2004
By Shonda Seals
Seattle's only major urban radio station has finally got a to-die-for line-up for their Annual Birthday Party. To start off the list, we have the sexy, throw-your-panties-on-stage group Jagged Edge. I had the pleasure of seeing them in Las Vegas, but now they will sing to me personally from the fifth row. OKAY, like Lil' Jon would say. Next, all the ladies will get an invite from Cassidy to come to his hotel, but will he give up that room key? And for all you Ying Yang Twins lovers, it's time to add some Johnny's to that shaker, because you know somebody is getting pulled on the stage. Will it be you? We shall see. We will not be hollering, "Hey Ya," but someone will be watching the way we move, Big Boi will be hitting the stage presenting his solo CD, Speakerboxx. Sorry ladies, Marques Houston is not trying to find "That Girl" who can "Pop That Booty"... he was recently dropped from that list. But the new artist Baby Bash - you know the cute light skin guy - is also coming with the Colonel of the Tank, Master P the latest recruit to the birthday bash.
It should be a nice show of fine men doing their thang for all paying individuals to see. The event is being held at the new Everett Events Center on Saturday, March 27, 2004. I heard on the streets the after-party is at Club Broadway also in Everett. Be there or be more than a square a freakin' rectangle.
