Outside Seattle’s Key Arena, in the bone chilling weather that is Seattle, was another KUBE 93 vs. KISS 106 “Come to our booth” competition. Once again, reigning champions KUBE 93 won again by drawing over the masses with their back-to-back celebrity visits and once in a lifetime prize giveaways. Fans were treated to meet & greets with artists such as: Isyss, The Clipse and Fabolous. Fans in hopes of winning concert tickets could be found at the KUBE booth trying to unlock a treasure chest that held their only chance of attending the show. Onlookers were also treated to a special performance from up and coming, hometown artist, Hot Rod.

The Nelly Tour kicked off with four lovely ladies from California by the name of

Isyss. They blazed the stage with sexy and edgy dance moves and captivated the audience with their beautiful and on point harmonization. The Clipse, two hustlin’ brothers from the VA took to the stage second, performing their hot, Neptunes’ produced tracks that can be heard, still blowing up radio stations nationwide. F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S is what he was. The New York native rocked the mic with a mix of old and new songs from his albums, Ghetto Fabolous and

Street Dreams. Next up was a new artist reppin’ the 253, that’s right, Tacoma baby! Without a beat, just rhymes, 13 year old, Hot Rod commanded the jam packed Key Arena to their feet and had them clapping a beat for him. This was the first time he had performed in front of thousands of people, and he definitely represented well. He received cheers well beyond that of a newcomer, more like the cheers deserved of Tupac or BIG. Be on the lookout for Hot Rod.

Last but not least, was the man and his crew of the hour, Mr. St. Louis and The Lunatics. With his mens by his side, Nelly had no problem with teaching Seattle some “Country Grammar” while taking us on a Ride Wit him. The Key Arena was transformed into ‘Pimp Juice’ palace. Nelly’s portion of the show was

exactly what a fan would have expected, it was nothing but a pure wildin’ out, energy filled, krunk to the 3rd power concert. Nell and the ‘Tics tore the Key Arena apart. All old, new, in between and solo project songs were performed, and still no one seemed to have gotten enough. In between all of that, dancers got the place pretty heated with their incredibly sensual and upbeat moves to Sean Paul’s “Gimme the Light”. Nelly and his dirtys closed out the show, stuck in a “Dilemma.” At the end of their mellowed out ballad, they thanked Seattle and exited the stage. Following the last selection, no one else seemed to be stuck in a dilemma, out to parking lot pimpin’ it was.
