Hatin’ On Barbershop Could Prove Costly For Jesse Jackson & Al Sharpton

Investigators Trying To Link Killarmy Songs To DC Snipers
Virginia authorities are attempting to connect two songs from Wu Tang affiliates Killarmy to letters left by the two snipers. “Five Stars” and “Word Is Bond” from Killarmy’s 1997 release Silent Weapons For Quiet Wars are believed to be tied to two letters left at crime scenes by John Muhammad and John Lee Malvo. One letter had five stars on it, and the other had the phrase “word is bond” in it. The law is trying to prove a connection between the two snipers, and Killarmy, which has a military-style image. Personally, I think this is outrageous, because “word is bond” is a common phrase used by many people all over. It seems like the powers that be are always trying to link hip hop to violence.
