Kitsap Peninsula- More Than Just A Ferry Tale

The Northwest Hip Hop / R&B scene has been on the come up over the past 10 years or so. This would only allude to the expansion of party spots and familiar faces. With almost every corner of the Puget Sound region covered and accounted for, cause and effect would naturally point to different locations, making more venues more accessible. Speaking of- the Bremerton and Silverdale market is doin’ it’s own thing.
Bremerton contains it’s own population of all club-goers and socials from a variety of places around the country. This is due to the culmination of Navy heads stationed in Bremerton and some of the local folk. The commute may be more than the average Seatown or Southend regular would consider, but it’s definitely something different. Why not? I know each and every one of you has reached that point when you thought, “damn, I am constantly seeing the same people”.
Let’s not forget our options around here. Bremerton is nothing more than a ferry ride away. The Coleman dock is where you can hop on the ferry, right down in Pioneer Square (next to the McDonalds on the Pier). Though Bremerton is a small place, our crowd does tend to make its home wherever it settles.
Oh Gallagers is one spot where many of the 360 locals flock. The same differences occur wherever you go- females and fellas are always lookin’ for a good time and good music. Pool tables, drink specials, and decent seating are available. So come get your groove on. New places mean new faces.
Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays tend to get a good dose of social seekers and singles anywhere you go. A good crowd comparison would be like mixing the Belltown crowd with the Federal Way/ Kent crowd- just to give you a good idea.
The Sand Piper is another spot in the neighboring town of Silverdale.
The Kitsap Peninsula is on the rise right along with the rest of the 206, 425, and 253 markets - so just a heads up people, keep your eyes and ears open for all areas of the town. We can only get as big as our support will allow for. Come be a part of the most slept on areas of this side of the water. Night life is only what you make it. So don’t forget to consider your options when you it’s time to hit a new spot.
