Well that was smart……

According to Komo 4 in Lacey Washington an 83-year-old man has been murdered by his wife who tried to attempt suicide shortly after.

Around 5:30am police received a call about a shooting in the 9100 block of Steilacoom Road SE, northeast of Lacey. -- Inside they found an 83-year-old man fatally shot in the head and his wife also shot in the head, but still alive. – The woman was then rushed to the hospital.

Investigators say there is no sign of a struggle or a break-in, and they found a handgun, all leading to an initial conclusion this is a murder and attempted suicide. [SOURCE]

"That preliminary look tells us that he was shot first and then she made an attempt to commit suicide second," Elwin said.

In other words if this women survives the will definitely have some explaining to do.
